To develop a smart street light application using ESP8266 and talkback.Go to the thingspeak page which is https://thingspeak.com/.Then signup for your thingspeak account and then login to your thingspeak account .After logging into your channel, click on apps you get the following screen scroll down to find talkback under your apps.

Description

Aim: To develop a smart street light application using ESP8266 and talkback
Requirements:
Hardware:
  • ESP8266
  • Connecting wires
  • LED’s
Software:
  • Thingspeak Account
STEPS INVOLVED:
  • Go to the thingspeak page which is  https://thingspeak.com/.
  • Then signup for your thingspeak account and then login to your thingspeak account .




  • After logging into your channel, click on apps you get the following screen scroll down to find talkback under your apps.


  • Click on talkback and  then click on New talkback the following screen appears.




  • Give a name to your talkback app and click save Talkback.
  • Now ,its time to add commands to your talkback. As our application is smart street light  we are going to add commands like ;
  • Get the value to which gives the sensor value being uploaded to thingspeak
  • Dim the light to which is going to decrease the illumination of light
  • Illuminate to which is going to increase the illumination of light
  • To add a command after you create your talkback app click on add command at the bottom and then give the commands specified above.



  • When you  are uploading  the code you can even find your added command in the serial monitor as shown below:





Conclusion: Hence, we were able to develop  smart light application using talkback and ESP8266.
