Control your devices using Raspberry pi and Talkback App on ThingSpeak.

To control devices using Raspberry-Pi and Talkback,Create a Thingspeak Account, Firstly, you need to create a Thingspeak account by going into https://thingspeak.com/, Login into your Thingspeak account using your mail-id and password, Creating a Talk-Back App, Click on Apps and then scroll down ,go to actions and then click on Talkback.

Aim: To control devices using Raspberry-Pi and Talkback
REQUIREMENTS:
HARDWARE:
  • RASPBERRY-PI (3B)(WITH ETHERNET CABLE OR WIFI CONNECTED)
  • USB MOUSE
  • USB KEYBOARD
  • VGA TO HDMI CABLE
  • A MONITOR
  • RASPBERRY’S POWER SUPPLY
  • LED’s(it may be any device )
SOFTWARE:
  • Thingspeak account
STEPS INVOLVED:
Step-1 : Create a Thingspeak Account:
  • Firstly, you need to create a Thingspeak account by  going into  https://thingspeak.com/

 

STEP-2: Login into your Thingspeak account using your mail-id and password


 

STEP-3: Creating a Talk-Back App:
  • Click on Apps and then scroll down ,go to actions and then click on Talkback.

 
  • Then  first click on new Talkback and then give a name to your talkback .
  • If you want to control any device based on data received then in the option called  Log to channel  give the channel using which you intend to control your device  and then click on Save TalkBack.




 
  • Then add commands to your Talkback according to the commands specified in your code as shown below and click on Save.

 

 

 
  • After saving all the commands then give a command from the same window you observe that the same command is received on to your Pi.

 

 
  • In your Program according to the command you can make some pins high or low.
Conclusion: Hence, we were able to control devices connected to your Raspberry-Pi using Talkback.
